Kovu was silent as the she-cat spoke about her parents assassination. Though there wasn't much detail on the matter he could imagine it would be a terrible thing to endure. "I'm sorry" He meowed quietly almost as though it were to himself. The dancer nodded his head as she spoe about how being a doctor was new. When she stood he stood with her. The tom hated feeling small wich is why he loved being a tall tom. He took her paw in his own. "I'm Scorch" He lied smoothly. It was his theives guild name so was telling a glimmer of something true.
The siamese smirked as he was offered fish. "I would love to join you for food." He thought it was odd that he had just attacked and stabbed the she-cat and now she was feeding him. Although she could put poison in his food for all he cared the tom had been living off the less pleasent food in the market. Everyone in the city knew that there was the good food that also meant expensive and there was the crappier older somewhat rotting food that cost only a few coins. Wich happened to be all the tom could afford so fish no matter if it were burnt to a crisp would be a welcome thing in his belly.

(sorry this took so long I was hoping to have a good journal skin that wasn't ether old or hideous by now, but alas, no such luck) The smaller cat nodded uncomfortably as he apologized for her parents' death, the topic always put her a bit on edge, and she always felt a bit artificial when people actually apologized. It wasn't like the Siamese tom, Scorch was his name, had been the one who had murdered them, not that she would know. She new troublingly little of the strange tom, and suspected that he had told her an alias, not real name. She began to wish she'd used her Blue Blood name: Rose, but he would have quickly discovered her lie, had she done so, seeing as her surname was carved into the mantle. Ailish jumped a bit as Scorch accepted her invitation, "Oh," she nodded, "lovely, I hope you understand my reluctance to leave you alone in my shop, seeing as you not moments ago tried to rob it. Would you care to accompany me?" she gestured to the kitchen, not mentioning that she might need some sort of help putting out any fires her cooking might cause.

Kovu had seen a flicker of doubt cross the she-cat's face as he told her his 'name' but he had just attempted to steal from her and wouldn't be able to afford bale if she were to tur him into jail. So he kept with the lie he had told Ailish. There was also another look something he couldn't really tell what it was but it almost mimicked resentment and that could have been from not telling him an alias that she might have. He hadn't a clue why someone like her would have another name to go by. Either way the dancer pushed the thought to the back of his mind disregarding it as though it were something of a illusion.
The dark tom's blue eye's focused back onto the samller she-cat as she spoke again. He nodded meowing "I understand" as he followed the she-cat into the kitchen. It was a cozy house of sorts not overly big but not small. For some reason the theif felt a nervouse. This was a feeling he did not experience this feeling often and it felt somewhat foreign. He awkwardly stood beside the kitchen wall trying to not get into the white she-cats way. His gaze mostly focused on the ground and his paws.
