Devyn walked through the more secluded area of the Forest, making sure he was clear from the path the humans usually tread on. He was walking not on all four legs but walking on his hind legs. That was the reason he chose the more secluded areas of the forest to walk through. Humans weren't supposed to know that the cats were able to walk in such a way but Devyn wasn't one for walking on all fours. He wouldn't be able to reach for his knife is he did so.

Slinging the rabbit's limp body over his shoulder, Tomb sighed annoyed, brows furrowed. Why was hunting such a chore? What was it about catching his own cooking supplies that was just so....so ridiculously mundane? Only the Creator above knew the question to that answer. The powder gray tom merely snorted. His front paws flinched at the alien feel of the earth underneath them, tail held high over his head. He was in human territory, and no amount of selfish pride would make him take the risk of revealing his homeland's secr-oh god what did he just step in? The cook halted, bringing his left paw up for inspection. A mushroom. A poisonous mushroom. "Greeeeeat." he hissed allowed, trotting over to a near by tree to smear the remnants of the fungus off. His ear flicked, thought, as the sound of unsettling grass caught his attention. Some one else was out here as well, but whether they were friend or foe was yet to be discovered. Dropping back down to all fours, Tomb dropped to a crouch, sniffing at the ground tentatively. The smell was of a feline, male as it were. 'Well, at least it's a maybe threat I can take if they turn out to be bad.' Green eyes kept sharp as he passed through the dark green foliage, and he suddenly felt suffocated by the rodent atop his back. Should he go hide it? Could he go hide it? The answer, of course, was no. "Hey, who's over there?" Tomb called out as firm but casually as he was able, hoping the response was at least some what civil. He really couldn't take any confrontations right about now. He needed to get back home to dress this kill before the flies got to it.

Devyn was leaning up against a tree when he heard someone's voice. At first he thought that it was a human and quickly dropped onto all four legs but as he scented the familiar scent of a feline he eased up and got back to standing on his hind legs. Devyn couldn't tell whether whoever had called out was friendly or not so he kept a paw on his dagger as he walked towards where the voice had originated. He was met with the sight of a feline as he made his way through a bush. Pushing back branches and leaves as he walked forward towards the other feline who was on all fours rather than on his hind legs like he was. Devyn pulled his cloak around him as he examined the cat. Not really a very rich looking cat. Though not extremely poor ether. One of the working class nonetheless and Devyn didn't steal from them. It wasn't right. He remembered what it was like to work for a living, his parents had and so had he for a time after their deaths. Glancing down at the cat once again he noticed the fresh kill he had near him and couldn't help but feel hunger grab at his stomach. He hadn't eaten since yesterday and his stomach wasn't letting him forget it either. "Well well, looks like i'm not the only one out for a walk today? Out for a hunt?" Devyn said in his usual unfriendly tone though now that he figured the cat wasn't a threat he moved the paw that he had kept on his dagger away from it. This cat would be no threat ti him.
