<Muddmuff >A hooded figure waded from the deepest part or the water, as he had steadily been moving throughout the empire since dawn. His yellow eyes had been searching for any wisp of criminal activity, his claws itched for it. He stood up on his hind legs and removed his mask, but left his black hood on. Long fur soaked to brim he took his blade in hand and hopped up onto the bank, completely oblivious to the fact 3 cats were in the vicinity. And then conversation hit his ears, causing him to instinctively listen in. He recognized the voice of Akelo, Mr. Lord of the legionary. Although he was sure that the two had not met formally, he knew of the elite and his work. Mikhail was not a fan of the Legianary, their methods were soft and inaffective in his eyes. They showed too much compassion towards criminals. He looked over at the she-cat near him and rolled his eyes "Does the lord of the legionary really have so much time on his hand he lounges about all day?" he said with a smirk and a growl.
<Allizia> Akelo watched the she-cat then blinked as she left, without much more than a wave of her tail. He stared after her then turned to look at Mikhail. His eyes hardened and he stood, letting his cloak fall, covering his harp and journal from view. "He may have such time if he uses it wisely, and finished up his duties. as I recall, you have something to be attending to tonight, am I right?" He wasn't too fond of the male. He was too rough, even in just his speak. His tail twitched and he allowed his paw to rest on his whip. "My training session with the heirs is over for today, and as such, I took my time to relax, preparing for drills tomorrow. it is not my fault you merely have a crimal duty to uphold. One so tight as you may ask himself why he doesn't have company in his bed." He sneered, all innocence gone from his face as he crossed his arms. "Then again, one such as you just needs to look in the reflection of the streams."
<Muddmuff> Mikhail curled his lip, removing his soaked hood to let it fall on his shoulders. he flicked his scarred ear and gripped his blade tightly "Tonight yes, i will be on the watch for guild activity. I have been busy the past week, filling in shifts ever since an assassin murdered one of my best Shades" he growled harshly. "And how goes training those pompous brats? Teaching them love and compassion to defeat their foes?" he sneered. A rippling snarl emitted from his throat as he reeled from the comment of his personal life " My work is my love, i do not require the company of others to sooth the holes in my heart left by those who have wronged me." his stumpy tail twitched back and forth angrily. How one cat could anger him so much... it was inconceivable.
<Allizia> The legionary kept his arms crossed, leaning against the tree. His tail kept his cloak from blowing away, as his eyes remained trained on the male before him. "One shouldn't require company, but the thought that one could have some if they so choose would be useful, even for one with a heart as black as yours." He moved forwards, dropping his arms to his side and circled the male. He was smaller, skinnier, and more fragile lookign than the male, but he was not defenceless. For most, he intimidated them, and he hated that. He showed no fear as he circled the male, and even let his paw touch him as he did so, then stood in front of him. "The heirs are fast learners, and you know, one dpesn't need love and compassion all the time, one can simply...push...someone into listening." As he spoke, he sneered, and gave a focused shove with his magic, right in the males chest. They stood by the stream, and he hoped to unbalnce the male enough to cause him to fall into the water.
<Muddmuff> Narrowing his eyes, Mikhail watched Akelo cirlce him. "Who are you to judge someone like me, how would you know how black my heart is?" he hissed as the tom observed him. "You do not know me Akelo." his deep voice growled as the Legionary lord touched him "Keep your paws off me!" he hissed holding in the urge to bash the tom with the base of his blade. As the tom shoved him back with a burst of power he sent the blade into the earth between Akelo's paws, keeping one paw firmly gripped to his chain. He landed with a splash in the stream, a cold unforgiving look crossing his face as he shook the water from his pelt. "One could also beat someone into listening." he sneered.
