It was truly unusual for Riven to feel such excitement - but the events were always amazing and fun, so she didn't even attempt to hide the excitement. Yeah, she was in such a good mood.
The she-cat's pawsteps light as the wanderer closed in to the festival fields, Riven had a slight smile on her lips - havin' fun now and then wasn't that bad after all, eh. The sandy brown she-cat raised an eyebrow as the festival fields revealed itself in front of her eyes. "Not bad, not bad at all," She muttered, slowly entering the area.
The activities certainly seemed fun, but before trying out every one of them, Riven had decided to take a small walk around - and, perhaps have a chat with a fellow cat or two - it was never bad to socialize a bit more.

Marshall had spent a few minutes outside the festival grounds, being indecisive on whether or not to go into the area, but he finally made his decision, he would go in. As he walked into the tent-filled area, the soldier was cautious not to trample over anyone, which was quite difficult when children were running each and every way. But most cats stayed out of his way, he was a First Class Legionary Soldier, after all, if anything went wrong, he would be the one to help fix the problem.
The smell of ale and warm food made Marshall's excitement grow, he wasn't going to participate in any events, but still being around to watch was fun. As he gazed off to look at the cats practicing, he forgot to look where he was walking, accidentally bumping into Riven. "Oh, I'm sorry!" the soldier said quickly.

Looking around at the tents, activities and stuff, the wanderer hadn't really payed any attention to where she was walking - and thus the small accident occurred. Riven raised an eyebrow and glanced at the cat out of curiosity - from the looks of him, the tom seemed one of the Legionaries. "Ah, it's alright - no worries. It was partly my fault as well," She smiled slightly and took a tiny step backwards.
"Enjoying the festival, hm?" She inquired with the same slight smile - if Riven had a chance to start a chat and meet new people, of course she'd use it.

"Huh?" It took awhile for Marshall to get focused again. "Oh, why- yes! I am. What about you?" The soldier had just made an idiot of himself...again. This wasn't the first time he's done something like. It seemed like whenever he talked to she-cats something went wrong, this time he stumbled into one when he specifically told himself not to bump into anyone and to be careful.
As he looked at Riven, he realized that he would probably need to be more social, and this was his chance to talk to someone about nearly anything. He waited for the she-cat to reply.

Riven chuckled silently before replying - nah, she wasn't thinking anything bad about the tom, he actually seemed quite nice. "Same here - everything looks really great. Though I just came here, so haven't seen all of the stuff yet," She explained, taking a small look around the area - there was the battle tournament area nearby, as well a small bar - the smell of ale was quite strong in the air.
"I'm Riven, by the way. Riven Lockwood," She grinned, stating her name to the tom - and, of course she expected an introduction in return.

"I've only been here a couple times, there's many things I haven't seen yet, perhaps we could go together." Marshall said and smiled when the she-cat gave the soldier her name. "And I'm Marshall, Marshall West." Marshall held out a paw for Riven to shake, that was usually how the tom made all of his introductions, with a pawshake, it lets him know part of a cat's personality. A weak shake probably meant that the cat was insecure with their life. A good, strong shake meant that the cat was proud to be them. There are many other types of pawshakes, but those are the main ones.

Just what she'd been hoping for. "Sure, I'd love to," She replied with a grin. As the tom offered a paw for a shake, the she-cat gave a good shake - perhaps her shake was a rather strong one - definitely not the weakest of handshakes. "It's truly great to meet you, Marshall," Oh yes, it for sure was - Riven always loved meeting new cats.
"Should we go then?" The wanderer glanced ahead with a flick of her tail - some stuff really seemed interesting, and she was quite intent to try some of the activities out.

Marshall grinned as Riven shook his paw, it was a nice, strong shake, obviously the she-cat had a great personality. Looking in the same direction Riven was, he nodded. "Yes, we should if we want to be able to see as many activities and stores here as possible." he meowed to the wanderer. and began to walk in the direction they were both looking, casting a glance backwards to see if the wanderer was still with him.

"Oh yus, I want to see as many of them as I can," She muttered, the same smile upon her features. The wanderer chuckled as Marshall glanced back at her, apparently to see if she was still there. "I'm still followin'," She voiced and stepped forwards, keeping up with the solider easily.
The festival fields were filled with cats - young and old, as well lots of different sounds and smells. There were food stands now and then that looked quite good for Riven, even though she wasn't hungry the stuff smelled great. The icy blue gaze shifting from size to side, the she-cat seemed to observe the surroundings in a hope to find an activity to watch or even participate in.

"Hmmm...arm wrestling...hit the bottle...wheel of fortune...all of it looks so fun!" Marshall commented, waving his tail with delight. Before he was thinking of not participating in any of the events, but now he was having other thoughts. Everything here was filled with excitement, and it would be wrong of him to not participate in anything.
(Shooorttt I'm distracted by Harry Potter movie playing XD )

{LOL Harry Potter. o; I'd be distracted too. <3}
It was truly hard for her to decide in which direction to go - pree' much every one of the activities looked fun - but the arm wrestling, battle and 'hit the bottle' stuff seemed really great.
"Hey! That one there, right there," Riven called out to the solider next to her, pointing at the 'hit a bottle' activity thing. "What would you say about tryin' that one out?" She finished her sentence with a glance at Marshall and a grin.

Marshall refocused his gaze on the 'hit the bottle' activity, it seemed simple enough, you just had to hit the bottles with a ball you were given. "Sure! Why not?" the soldier grinned as he and Riven headed over to the stand. The tom was usually easygoing that way, willing to go and do anything that had good intentions. ( He wasn't willing to go on a killing spree, or to go steal things, that's where the tom draws the line )

Rather determined to try it out and try not to fail badly, Riven glanced back at the solider with a grin, then started heading towards the game area. "Awesome, I'll just go ahead and.." She didn't really finish her sentence, already taking a ball from the game master with a smile.
The sandy brown she-cat glanced at the bottles, her eyes narrowed slightly - she was fairly good at aiming and stuff, after all she often spent her time in the woods - hunting. At last Riven managed to proceed a pretty good aimed throw, after all not failing that badly as she knocked down a couple of bottles.
