The female couldn't remember having a night like this, to actually relax and listen to the sounds of the nature that surrounded her. The water was steaming, heating the night's cool air, making her face fur fluff as she peered down in the mineral waters. It felt nice though, the warmth blowing through those long locks, it was unusual for a cat to like water but Renly had no problem slipping her slender aching form into the spring, engulfing and heating her body with a feel good sensation, relaxing her muscles and releasing a bit of stress. A sigh escaped her lips, the sound filled with longing, hinting with sadness in the edge of the tone.
"Now if only I had some music, maybe someone to talk too.. " she murmured, speaking to herself, the spring seemed completely empty.. and that was usual for this time. The moon hung in full over the rock covered area, penetrated with deep and shallow pools that were heated by the lava that ran somewhere deep under the earth. The feline knew she was in this pool on her own risk, the waters could heat up at any second if the volcano was to become active somewhere, where ever it was located, but it was to calm.. to much of a amazing feeling not to take a chance. Tapping digits along the rocky edge she kept herself up, and a float on, the assassin made a bit fo a beat, and would begin to hum.. Her voice not a lyrical, or beautiful as others, she was never one for singing, but if she was alone.. then it was comforting.

Othello sighed as his muddy feet trudging through the earth. He had his fishing rod over his shoulder and his hat pushed down over his eyes, however he had it high enough for him to see the ground in front of him. It had been a long night, and the tom hadn't scored a single catch. He wondered why. Maybe the fish just didn't agree with him tonight, however this was odd since the fish were always out and biting at night.
The tom stopped, where was he now? He looked around confusedly. Othello had never been here before, he must have accidentally gone wandering while he was moping about his poor fishing session. He had a quick look around, noticing a spring as he poked his head out from between two trees. So that's where he was. Othello never would have imagined that a spring would be out here. Maybe it was just the thing Othello needed to wash away his troubles. Being a fisherman and all, he never really had a disliking for water. He remembered the many times he had been pulled into cold wet sea water by big fish. These springs were different though, they didn't seem to contain horrible salty sea water, but nice warm fresh water.
Crouching by the side of the water on a rock, he slowly dipped his paw in to test the temperature. "Hmm..." He smiled, feeling a nice warm sensation on his pads. The water was a lovely temperature. Othello placed his rod down on the rock, as well as his hat. Just as he went to slip into the water, he heard tapping, no humming. He stopped and then looked around. He almost had a heart attack as he noticed the other cat in the water about ten meters away. He hoped that he wasn't going to be any disturbance, however Othello remained quite, he wasn't sure if this stranger had noticed him yet.

She continued her tapping, occasionally giving a splash or two to the water, humming her off key upbeat melody to her heart's content, the night surrounding her with its cool breeze and calm atmosphere. Until, there was a shift in the water, sort of dunk that stopped all so suddenly. Those green eyes tore up, looking over to see the white cat amongst the steam, slanted eyes staring at her awkwardly. The tom's complexion and slender body made him seem to blend in with the steam, almost having perfect harmony in it, though his blue eyes shined through beautifully, he seemed almost like a heavenly presence of paranormal. Despite this, Renly swallowed hard after about jumping out of her soaked fur that clung to her body, showing off the curves that made up a form meant for a series of athletics.
"You.. You about gave me a heart attack. I thought you were a ghost for a moment there." She chuckled nervously, her voice unsteady as she seemed unsure of Othello still.. her mind still stuck in the illusion of the heated wet air that surrounded him.

Othello was as still as a statue once he had accidentally started the other cat. He slowly relaxed once she spoke. He felt a little more welcome now, the stranger didn't seem to be angry or hostile. "O-oh I'm sorry..." Othello apologized calmly, continuing to slowly slid into the water. He figured it couldn't hurt, it wasn't like this other cat owned the springs anyway.
The tome let out a long, pleased sigh as he felt his fur soak with the warm water. A smile crept onto his face and it wasn't planing to leave anytime soon. Othello had almost completely forgotten about his rotten fishing day, these springs had made up for it. He would have to come here more often. He knew the stranger was a girl now, he could tell by her voice. She did have a lovely voice, maybe if the queen hit the right keys while singing, she might sound lovely. That's what Othello thought anyway.
"Sorry, i'm not bothering you am I?" Othello asked as he looked back over to the other cat. He was still a little afraid of this stranger since he couldn't even see what she looked like. All Othello could make out was that this strange cat had a striped pattern and gleaming green eyes, other wise he was pretty much left in the dark, literally.

A moment of silence passed as he slipped in the water meters away from her, and with that she had broke her stare, his mortal movements proving that he was not a paranormal entity. A sigh slipping from her lips, she sunk deeper under the surface, just her head from mid-chin sticking out of the water whilst everything else soaked in the mineral rich waters. Despite trying to relax though, she kept letting those green hues wander over to the male, she felt awkward just sitting there.. not talking, being the social female she was.. So it was a relief when he finally sparked a question.
Renly smiled, raising a little out of the water now, and proceeded to shake her head. "No , you're fine. I actually am glad to have the company. " she murred, giving a little splash to the water. " Do you come here often? .. I mean not many like the water. " The assassin asked curiously, leaning against the warm rocks to keep herself a float and balanced all the while trying to be comfortable.

Othello seemed to be enjoying himself already. Once he thought about it a little, it was somewhat odd that he liked the water. Actually the tom didn't notice that up until now. Being comfortable with the water was almost like second nature too him now. He did know that most normal cats could would fuss over getting just a drop on their pelts, but most normal cats probably weren't used to being covered in sea water either.
Othello relaxed himself. "Do I come here often? No actually..." He gave a little chuckle, looking up at the stars. "I'm actually quite lost. I had a somewhat bad day and then I stumbled upon these beautiful springs." He let out a relaxed sigh, looking back over at the she cat. "I'm a fisherman you see. It isn't unusual for me to get a little wet. Fish flail around a lot you know." He tilted his head to one side, thinking for a moment. "...Well, I don't really favor getting wet when the fish struggle, but I guess I'm used to the water aye? I didn't even realize how odd it is for me to just sink down into the water like that...silly me." He gave her a goofy grin. "Heh, sorry, I talk too much don't I?"

Renly peered over at him as he began to answer her question and she listened, large audit's perked with interest. So he was a fishermen? That would explain the salty and fishy smell that hit her nose before he slipped into the hot pool of water. Really she didn't mind the smell either, better then the smell of a lot of other things. Nodding, the assassin waited for him to finish before a small little chuckle rippled from her throat. " I don't think its strange for a fishing cat to be used to water.. it would be a little odd if you weren't" The she-cat smiled with amusement shaking her head. " No No! Its okay. Im the one usually blabbing away but I enjoy listening too. I don't mind the company at all, Really." Those green hues watched him with a attentive stare. " Ever been pulled in before? By a big catch?" she giggled, asking with curiosity. "Ive tried my paw at fishing before.. so I can only wonder how strong they are!"

Othello chuckled in amusement. He felt a little awkward around female cats a lot of the time, so he hoped that he could get over that slight feeling he had. "Pulled in you ask? Well of course! It has happened many many times. I would advise you not to fish for piranhas, because you do NOT want to be pulled in by a fish like that." Memories of the fisherman's many adventures flashed though his head. He looked as if he was just staring into the distance for no apparent reason just then, but he quickly shook his head and then snapped back to reality.
Othello wasn't really a very strong supporter of assassins. It was a good thing he didn't know about that right now. He didn't believe that it was right to take another cat's life for any reason, well, there were some small cases where Othello found it was acceptable, but he was definitely against anyone who would assassinate.

"Piranhas? Ah Yes! Im sure you wouldn't!" The feline laughed with a bit of heart, smiling with amusement afterwords. Just the thought of fishing made her feel relaxed, knowing from stories how it could be, just you and your pole.. the sounds of the nature swirling about you. The smile stayed on her face, til she noticed the other cat's distant expression, ... had she said something wrong? Struck a wrong topic? Those wide green eyes blinked, paw gesturing out the assassin was about to ask if everything was alright but found her lips locked shut. A moment of Silence seemed to pass before Renly found the strength to speak up, interrupting his thoughts.
"Are you okay?" she asked with curiosity but it hinted with a bit of worry. It was not usual for her for a cat to just blank out as such, especially with a stranger about.

Othello blinked, tilting his head to one side. He looked away, feeling a little embarrassed. "O-Oh yes just fine." He frowned lightly, feeling a little confused. The blanking out moments were usual for the tom, however he usually wouldn't do it in the presence of another cat. Was there something wrong with him? He noticed that he might be confusing the she cat a little more, so quickly he turned back to face her.
"Heh heh, sorry. I think I might just be a little tired as all, but there is no need to worry." a big grin covered his face as he spoke as he tried to hid the fact that maybe, just maybe something was up with the tom. Even he didn't know what it might be, but for her sake, he decided to keep his mouth shut about his problems.
