It was once again one of those nice, sunny days with a slight summer breeze - just the time to head out of Gweillan and have some vitamin D. And the only chance of doing it without having to head up to Rithengar was the Jasper Beach.
Humming a soft melody of a song she'd heard one time in a tavern, the sandy brown she-cat moved silently along the beach. She didn't have any weapons with her, for the wanderer didn't think that anything dangerous would show up on a day like this.

Jet, far from the most fearful thing in Gwellian, held what she had deemed the most fearful stick in her paws. It was her weapon, and nobody could mess with her! She swung it aimlessly, hitting at one of the logs that the shore had washed up. The sokoke dancer huffed; this figting stuff was boring! She would never needto know how to fight against a log. She paused, a pretty grin lighting her face as an idea tickled her mind. Singing under her breath a soft tune, she clumsily turned, navigating the large stick so it touched the sand beneath her. She pulled it along, guiding it and the sand beneath it into a nice, semi-circle. She then lifted it, and stabbed it into the ground twice above her previous line. Jet stepped back, grinning down at the smiley face that stared back from the sand.
Pleased by her work of art, she dropped the stick and whiped the little bits of bark off her paws. She pricked her ears; she was a good singer, but since when was her voice so harmonized? It sounded almost as if there were two beautiful tones, and she quickly and curiousky clamped her mouth shut. She had been wrong, somebody nearby was humming! She felt a sligt pang of dissqpointment, since it had sounded lovely. This was quickly followed by a flush of embaressment; what if this cat had heard her!?

Looking down, Riven observed the stuff beneath her paws - the sand seemed to be a goldish-sparkly tone in the shining sun, she thought as the she-cat pawed at the sand. When it was dry, the sand was alright - but she hated when it got stuck between her paw pads - even remembering the feeling made her shiver, and the wanderer decided to continue walking.
Listening to the sounds of the sea and wind was truly relaxing, so thus Riven, pricking her ears, soon caught another sound nearby - was it singing? She instantly shut her mouth and glanced around the beach - somebody was definitely there, and singing. "Hello?" The she-cat called out silently, taking a step forwards.

At the slight call, Jet’s ears lowered uneasily with dread. She had been right, somebody else was wandering around the beaches. But her momentary dismay was swiftly replaced with an eager curiosity as to just who it was that seemed to be out humming on the bright, sunny day. Kicking up a bit of sand as she moved, Jet trotted ahead a little ways, glancing around as her gaze fell on a dusty-coloured she-cat, who she remarked was actually quite pretty. It had been a while since the sokoke dancer had met anyone new, and she raised her paw in a slight, nervous wave. “Hi,” she mewed quietly, flashing an innocent smile. [ sooo short, sorry DX ]

{'Tis okay, and sorry for the late reply D| }
As soon as she called out to whoever was singing there, she began worrying as to who was abut to answer - after all she had taken no weapons with her today. With a mental facepalm the wanderer reminded herself that there was really no reason to worry about it - who'd attack her on a day like this, and on the beach.
"Oh, hey there!" Riven let a silent sigh of relief escape and smiled at the feline before her - the brown tabby she-cat didn't seem much older than herself - and the she-cat was quite sure that she hadn't met her before - and it was always great to have a chat and meet new people.
