Home... such a safe and wonderful place. It was nice to have a roof over her head unlike when she had first arrived here. Not even a spare coin, but the times had changed and really for the better. No longer was Iseret stuck along the streets, well... in a sense she was but now it was by choice not because she had to. Her gaze moved to her side as she noticed that Azael was gone. He usually was gone by the time that she had woken up. With him being a jailer, she was sure he would have to be there bright and early to watch over the prisoners. It must have been a grim job to have. She really did feel awful for him knowing what he used to be and the climb down that came over him. Either way, she was still there to support him, no matter what. She at least hoped her love would be able to keep him under control. It was a bit hard to watch him when he was not in the right state of mind.

A yawn emitted from the she cat's lips as she slipped out of bed and walked over to her things. She smiled as she began to attach the ribbons she carried into her fur. It was not much, but made for a nice little show when she was dancing, especially when she was using her dagger. The ribbons rested gently on her arms and tail and flowed a bit with the morning wind. She slipped on her dagger and coin purse on her upper right thigh before heading out. She loved the placement of her home. It was right by the water, making it really easy for baths and for relaxing. Sometimes it was nice to forget about the worries of the world and be one with nature as it was. She carefully made her way through the water and to the streets near her home.

Iseret usually wasn't seen dancing anywhere else besides here. It was not only close to her home, but also close to where she was sure he mate was working. Perhaps if by chance he was given a break, he would be able to come and see her dancing. She sighed as she continued along, looking back to make sure that her ribbons were not getting caught on anything. It was a shame she didn't have a cape she could wear where she was just casually walking around. She was sure she would be able to pull off a look in one. Maybe when she was able to get enough money, she could go see if she would be able to find one for herself. As she came to her usual spot, she waited. The streets didn't seem all that busy today, or at least not where she was. No point in dancing really if no one was watching right? Maybe someone would stop by to watch, but for now, she lowered herself to the ground and crossed her legs, waiting patiently.

Devyn had gotten up early that morning. The early bird gets the worm after all and in his line of work he couldn't really afford being late. Rolling off his bed he grabbed the cloak that lay on the floor beside the bed. Putting it on quickly along with his satchel that would be used to carry all the things he'd be able to obtain that day. Lastly he grabbed his dagger, strapping it to his left hind leg. Once he grabbed a quick bite to eat he was out and ready to face the day and whatever it brought along with it.

He strode along the Eastern quarter, doing his best not to pay any head to anything going on. Though he liked his neighborhood it was one of the poorer streets and along with poverty it also had its share of danger and violence. Drawing his hood further down his face he walked quickly until he finally reached the end of the Eastern quarter. It was here he'd decide where to go now. He hadn't been to the Northern Quarter in a while and it was where the richer cats dwelled so it was easy to decide going there. He entered the Northern quarter, hood down as to not cause suspicion and leaned against the wall of what he thought to be a house. Waiting for someone to pass by that looked weak enough that he'd be able to steal from them without trouble.

Iseret had to admit that it was rather boring waiting when there were not many cats around. She wanted to dance, but really what was the point if no one was going to watch her. Maybe she should have brought one of her instruments. At least then she could play a little music and attract some attention. Her gaze moved up to the sky as she noticed it was still early in the day. There was no one there to tell her that she couldn't return home for a moment to grab something and then come back. A smile came to her face as she got up and began to head down the streets for home.

The she cat's eyes moved up as she noticed the cloaked figure. It made her feel really uneasy. Ever since the raid on her home as a kit, she had been afraid of ones with a cloak, or ones hiding themselves. She didn't like thieves. It was one of the reasons that she bought the dagger she carried around with her. As she came closer, she reached her front paw down to her dagger. Really the only thing that she had worth stealing was the coin purse she carried, but she always kept that right next to her dagger. If this was in fact a thief, then he or she would surely be after it. Better to be prepared to draw her weapon rather than just sit there and let it be taken. She moved her eyes back forward and began to walk along as if she had never seen the cloaked one. Maybe if she ignored this cat nothing would ever happen.

Devyn blinked his eyes shut for a moment. Though he was used to being up early he was tired today. Weird he thought to himself. He couldn’t afford to be tired though and he soon found himself forcing his eyes open. If he didn’t find something to do soon he’d fall asleep. He glanced around. There wasn’t a big crowd around. In fact there wasn’t a crowd at all. It was still too early for that apparently and the only cats out were those with early jobs or the entertainers. Maybe he could entertain himself with one of them. Before he could think of anything a yawn erupted out of his jaws, he really was tired today. Blinking his eyes open once again he spotted someone who looked interesting enough to entertain himself with.

Wasting no time Devyn pushed himself up off the wall and towards the she-cat. He made no effort in being discreet and just walked right in front of her. ”Hello there miss. What is someone as lovely as you doing out at this hour of the day.” he asked. He had no intention of flirting but he was bored so he might as well pretend to.

Iseret stopped a bit as she noticed the figure coming over towards her and even in front of her. She was still feeling uneasy and kept her right paw near her dagger. It might have been a little better if he didn't actually make himself look like a thug. She kept quiet for a moment before finally speaking. "I came out here to do some dancing, but it looks like I came too early." She could tell he was acting rather flirty. She had been commented by other cats on her beauty, though she couldn't really see why honestly. Either way, at least those cats spoke more casual. She was sure that if her mate was here, he would break them up before the tom could get another word out.

The cat took another look over the tom before making an attempt to walk past him. "If you'll excuse me sir, I'm on my way home to get something." If she had managed to get past him, she would give a glance back to see if he was following her. She wasn't sure if he could tell she was feeling uneasy about being around him. Maybe that would be all the more of a reason for him to stick around her. She really would rather avoid such a situation than get involved with this tom.

So she was a dancer, nothing too snazzy that could get him a good amount of Schillings. Oh well, he didn't feel like letting her go that easy though. Devyn himself had nothing to do so he might as well get to know this cat. She might know some richer cats in the area which would be an opportunity he would definatly not want to miss. "Why don't you let me walk you home then? Might be morning but there are some creeps out and a lovely she-cat shouldn't wander around alone." of course he could easily be seen as one of those creeps but Devyn wasn't going to say that. Besides he had no intentions of hurting the cat, it wasn't in his nature to hurt or steal from she-cats. His parents had taught him to be a proper gentle-cat and he wasn't about to let them down on that end. Though if she did know some rich felines he wouldn't say no to a little raid. the rich always have enough to spare after all.

Iseret tilted her head a bit to the tom's offer to walk her home. In a way, it would be nice because she would have some company along with her, but in another way, she would rather him not. She wasn't too sure if she could trust him or not, and really didn't want to be showing someone like that where she lived. For a moment she was quiet and then thought about one part of his statement. Creeps huh? Guess that made him part of the list. She gave him a little devious smile before walking past him. "One such as yourself?" Perhaps that was all she need to make him aware of her uneasiness towards him.

The she cat continued on her way. She wasn't sure what to really tell him. He seemed nice, but it was a bit hard to judge him right now. It would probably be better for the both of them if she just returned home alone, and if he wanted to chat, then they could when she returned. She was sure someone like him would understand. She really didn't want to have another incident like the one that happened in her kithood.
