The underwater current tossled the albino tom's fur as he once again launched himself to the bottom of the sea floor with powerful hind legs strokes. He loved the water, even though as a kitten the palace fountain almost gobbled him up, he appreciated it's coolness and wonders. Today was a good day and he hoped it would stay that way. Even with his frail health he had a good talent of holding his breath and what better to do when you can hold your breath than Oyster Diving? This was truly one of Haven's favorite past times, besides stalking and charming she-cats and taunting grully looking thugs, he enjoyed the water on his fur and the fish who always cast curious glances his way but never came too close. Haven chuckled inwardly before moving his ruby gaze around. The setting sun was casting a brilliant orange hue of light to the twenty-foot deep sand bed and it made the tom's vision all the more sharper.
Within minutes he found what he was looking for. Just off a small reef he could see a boulder and on top of this boulder where the sea oyster he was looking for. 'There you are. Thought you could hide from me, ay?' Haven chided inwardly with an upraised brow before launching himself toward them. Only a few feet away a dark figure had came from the rocks and blocked his path and Haven shifted his body quickly to slow down to a stop as the water's current flwoed around his body. 'Drats' small bubbles drifted from Haven's clenched teeth and floated their way to the top. Before him, suspended there gently, its red skin pulsing as the waves did, swam an octopus vulgaris, the COmmon Octopus. He had learned about them from Serle, the head sage, his teacher as a kit. He had learned much but for right now just knowing the name would do him no good.
The creature held its ground, its long arms coiled and spun as if threatening the cat to come closer. 'Fine...I hope you like your skin fried' he thought as he felt a surge of electricity quiver down to his paws, but beofre he could send the surge of electricity he stopped and almost facepalmed. The electricty would not only fry the creature before him but also himself, stop his own heart even. As if defeated Haven swam back to the surface where the sun's warm raise leapt out to meet him. Once his head broke the surface he gathered a large breath and tried wiping the salt water from his ruby eyes. "Stupid creature" he slapped the water and proceeded to swim back to shore. Perhaps he had a weapon that he could use to atleast scare the thing away...was it even worth it?
Finally he made it back and proceeded to flop onto the warm sand just at the water's grasping edge and closed his eyes for a moment, his weaved bag and hood lay neatly a few feet away.

((Can't ever have too many RPs with Haven. :'D)) A long, wavering shadow stretched along the sand, the cat from whom it was cast picking his way across the beach, parallel to the water. One forelimb was thrown up to shade his eyes from the late day sun that shone directly into his face. From time to time, a stray wave would sneak up to tickle his paws, before sweeping back with a rushing giggle, as though teasing him to come and play. The male was stoicly ignoring all tempting from the sea, gaze intent on a spot not too far along the shoreline. A rocky outcropping stood against the sky, rough and slanted on one side, an easy ladder up to the top for a cat with agile paws. From there, the coast curved, sweeping back inland and exposing the western horizen above the sea. Ever the romantic, this cat would come on clear evenings like this one to watch the sun drop and bleed colors across the sky. And then, perhaps, to stargaze for a while, until the wind grew too chilly and he turned his paws back to the town.
There was still plenty of time before the sun began to set though, so Leif was taking his time walking along the beach. The brightness of the light in his eyes made it hard to see, but he was happy enough to just listen, eyes closed, to the sound of the waves, the call of seabirds, and feel the sand as he tripped over something he couldn't see and went tumbling down. His limbs pinwheeled, only barely catching him, and then sending him rolling across the sad. He came to rest face-down, spitting sand from his mouth. Quickly, he struggled to his paws, and looked behind him for the offending object. A woven bag and and folded black cloth lay in the sand, looking falsely innocent and untouched, as though they had done nothing but sit there peacefully the whole time. (Which, he supposed, they had.)
Griumbling softly to himself, Leif scooted away from the waveline to brush the sand from his fur, unwinding his scarf to dump out the grains. A splash nearby interuppted him, and he looked up. A large white shape was dragging itself out of the water, dripping salt, to lay on the sand, a little too close for comfort. Scrambling backwards, the male yelped, "Halt! What beastie from the sea are you? What d'ya want from me!?"

An elegant whistle and a skip in the wanderer's step, Kycin wasn't used to the beaches of Gwellain, but would it hurt to explore? It shouldn't, unless she'd find herself stepping on a sea-urchin, and, that was quite unlikely in her opinion. Sea urchins don't belong to the shores from her knowledge, and she wasn't afraid to have a little paddle in the cool waters of the beach, just to enjoy herself. Why not relax? She didn't have parents to tell her off, and at that thought, the wanderer grinned, she was young, but old enough to defend herself. As she made her way along the soft sand of Jasper's Beach, she felt her paws ache, and noticed that her mind was asking for relaxation to comfort herself.
With perked ears, the young cat wanted to know if there was comfortable sand to enjoy herself, but forget that, where there any other cats? She did hear someone, and she stopped making her way along the beach, narrowing her eyes for any unforgiving cat to challenge, but, she found herself looking at a few toms, which, weren't saying anything to her at all, but one of them didn't seem to identify that the albino was just a cat, not a sea creature.
(If they know each other) The wanderer flicked her ears, amused by one of the tom's behavior, and somehow, they both looked quite familiar. Who were they though? She wanted to know who they were, and her prediction was that they were the same toms from the pub she had met before, quite charming, they were, but she wasn't interested in romantic relationships yet. With a slight laugh, she then quietly padded towards them, removing her hood and whistled, "Beautiful catch, what is it, an albino sea-urchin?" she chuckled, flicking her tail in humor.

((Hate to break up this thread with an OOC post, but I would think this takes place some days after the Tavern meeting? We'll probably end up just winging it anyway. |D
And there's still one more slot open to anyone who's up for it. Throw in somebody new for a change. XDD))

(Hey can I join in?)
Eyes of the dark blue night sky glaced at the never-ending sea. The dark gray and white she-cat blinked once as she heard the gentle crawling of the small waves. Emerilla sat down in the lukewarm sand, her foretoes sinking into the warmth. She could feel nearly every sand crystal as with creeped between her toes and she let out a quiet, nearly silent, purr. Maybe the first time in a while she had purred. The cold she-cat always had her mind in the shadows. A rare moment for her indeed.
She glanced down the beach, to check no cat was passing. She felt she needed to enjoy this moment while it lasted, alone and not with others disterbing her. Without seeing any cat, she sighed and a small smile gew on her white muzzle. "No cat to upset this good moment, Emerilla." She reassured herself.
