Sky's pale eyes scanned the vast expanse of sand, her shoulders relaxed, a slight smile on her face. Autumn had come quickly, making her happy and anticipating the next festival: Hollow's Eve. She noticed a particular cat on the shore line and a happy grin entered her face. The fishing rod in front of him, and the strange hat leaning forward over his face, which was clearly hidden by it.
She stalked silently over the sand, not making a sound her paws ready, and just as she reached him, she grabbed the hat off of his head, "guess who!" she giggled, happy to see her friend again.

Othello whistled, his rod in the water. It was getting a little late for fishing, he was just about to pack up and head home for the day. He went to turn around to get his stuff when he felt the straw hat be whisked off from his head. Puzzled, the tom turned around to see where his hat had gone.
"Ahh!" He jumped, falling over and onto his back when he saw the she cat in front of him. She had just popped up out of no where and he wasn't expecting that at all. Once he had caught his breath, he frowned up at the cat, however his frown quickly diminished once he realized who they were. "Oh! Fancy meeting you again!" He gave a light chuckle.

Sky grinned, "glad you remember me!" she said plopping herself next to him, and putting his hat on her head. "Does this look good on me?" she asked him, pointing with both of her paws to the hat. "Im just thinking of what im gonna wear for the hallow's Eve!" she said innocently.
((sorry for the rushed reply, ;n; gonna get longer as the rp moves on c: ))

(( its fine~))
Othello rubbed his chin, looking her up and down with with a grin on his face. "I must say...the hat suits you...however..." He swiped it from off of her head before gently placing it back down on his own head. "You'll have to get your own one, this one's mine you silly." He chuckled, lightly shoving Sky.
He laid back and then looked up at the sky. "Hallow's eve? Well well, have any ideas for the event?"He asked, looking over at the she cat. The fisherman was unsure of what he could do for such and event.

(( thank you ;;~))
Sky giggled as he swiped the hat off of her head. "Hey! Maybe i can go to the Hallow's Eve festival as Othello!" she returned his grin. She wasn't expecting the slight shove:"hey!" she laughed, taking the hat off his head, ruffling his head fur and putting it back where it belonged.
She raised her eyebrows and smiled sneakily. "oh well kinda, as i remember it... it's going to be as good as the crowning festival and we will have to dress up and... cut pumpkins and... have fun?" she laughed. "What do you think? Have you decided something?" she asked genuinely, poking him lightly in the belly.

((gosh sorry for replying so late!))
Othello crossed his arms, looking like a grumpy old cat as he sat there getting the hair on the top of his head ruffled as if he was a wee kitten. His smile returned once his hat returned, it was as if the hat was the source of his joy.
"So you going to scare anyone? You can't expect to have a good Hallow's eve without any FEAR!" He sprang to his feet, his claws unsheathed and his fur standing on end as he snarled at Sky, trying to imitate a dog or some other frightening creature. He looked like a giant puff but with his fur on end like that.

((that's fine hun <3 its the reply that counts right? And gosh your post made me laugh so much))
Sky laughed at his sour puss expression. Though as his smile returned, an even bigger grin spread across her face an her stomach churned a bit. Of course, she ignored that feeling, though it returned from surprise , this time, as Othello jumped up and imitated...something, though he looked so funny and threatening as a puff ball and his claws unsheathed. She laughed so much, she developed a hiccup at the end.
However much she tried to stop, she wound up laughing again just by looking at the orange and white hairball that was actually her friend. As she calmed down A BIT, she said through hiccups and giggles, " Of (hiccup) course! As you (hiccup) said there's no (hiccup) hallows (hiccup) eve without a (hiccup) good scare an- (hiccup) -d a costume!" she clapped her paw over her mouth as she finished the sentence. "got (hiccup) any wat-" before she finished the sentence, she noticed how Othello's fur was still puffy and him standing over her, made her burst out laughing again.

((yours made me giggle XD))
Othello blinked. Why was she laughing? He quickly straightened himself out, flattening his fur again. "Hey! Hey what's so funny?" He gave her a weird look as she burst into a fit of giggles and...hiccups? That was odd. Was she alright? He crossed his arms and then looked to the side. "You make me feel unfrightening." He pouted softly, however he hid a sly grin as he kept his face turned away from her with his hat over his eyes. Maybe he wasn't the scariest cat around, but at least he could get a few good laughs out of some cats.

Sky smiled innocently, and jumped to her feet, and hugging his arm, pretending to be a young kit. " I'm sowwy mistew otewo, do wou forgive me?" she stuck out her lower lip, trying to look, well, pretty stupid.
Then, the scent of pastries caught her nose... "You hungry?" she asked, and before he answered she dragged him towards the scent. " Do you smell that ,Pirate?" She asked, using him the nickname she just invented. The sky was turning dusky and some cats were lighting up all of the thousands of lanterns in Gwellian. Lighting up her face, she grinned at Othello shyly and stopped dragging him. " im sorry, " she blushed, her eyes glistening from embarrassment.

Othello frowned at Sky. "I'm not a baby sheesh, I'm a grown tom!" He rolled his eyes, his arms still crossed stubbornly. He sighed, the smell wafting in front of the fisherman's nose. She was right, he could smell something, however he couldn't figure out what it might be. "Hmm, a little. I skipped breakfast this morning..." He rubbed his stomach.
The cat flinched a the word 'pirate'. Did Sky know something? He hoped not, being a pirate was a secret, and so far he wasn't doing so well at covering that up. There had to be someway to disguise his piratehood, but how? He sighed, maybe Othello was just over reacting a little. He looked down at the she cat. "Sorry? Sorry for what?" He slyly grinned at her.

Sky rolled her eyes, the blush still on her face. "Breakfast? Have you looked at the time lately?! It's dusk!" she laughed. She hoped Othello didn't think that she was stupid.... but how could he not?! She just went off, dragging him, then embarrassing herself... gosh im such an idiot! She thought to herself, the smile faded off of her face slightly though she tried to regain it.
Sky noticed his flinch, "whats wrong Othello? Did i do something? Whatever it is im so sorry already!" she said innocently. Then she smiled, as he regained his "confidence" , "You know, for dragging you and acting like such a kit..."she carried off, the wind was surprisingly warm and there were a few pumpkins here and there, carved into scary cats' faces, ready for the hallow's eve. "It's so beautiful here! And it smells off... pastries!" she said dreamily.

Othello chuckled. "Well I didn't eat during the day either!" He blinked, his stomach rumbling. He looked a little embarrassed himself as he rubbed the back of his head. He forgot how hungry he was, fishing kept his mind off of hunger. He stretched, flinging his rod over his shoulder. "No no I'm fine. I think a bug bit me or something." He smiled, trying to get her to forget about the whole pirate thing. The fisherman shook his head. "We all act like kits sometimes you know Sky. It's called 'goofing off'."
A strong, sweet yet satisfying smell was wafting around them, however Othello still couldn't figure out what it might be. He looked around in awe at the weird ornaments. He had to say, this place knew how to celebrate. He stood up straight and then looked at Sky once she mentioned the pastries. So that's what he was smelling. "Ahh, pastries!" He chuckled. "Mmmm, pastries..." He skipped past her, following his nose as he tried to find the food.

Sky giggled as she heard his stomach rumble. "Then lets get to the pastries, ill buy them, and we'll stuff ourselves!" She laughed, her usual self returning. She was pretty hungry herself! She didn't exactly have time to eat all day... she had been hunting, stealing, and coming to the ocean. The smell of the delicious pastries made her mouth water and her own stomach rumble. She could smell chocolate covered pastries, and sugary pastries, and even some usual ones, and ones with filling.
So she didn't blame Othello as he skipped past her, following his nose, so instead if pouting she laughed and caught up with him in a few strides. She pulled him to the left as he tried to skip to the right, boy Othello's nose knew how to trick him. She chuckled to herself. The brightly colored leaves reflected the light of the lanterns, making Sky's heart skip a beat. As they neared the city, she heard music and the smell of pastries intensified.
As she crashed through some bramble bushes, she froze. They had stumbled into a live Festival! The smell of goods was overwhelming and there were lanterns everywhere, cats too. There were a lot of tents set up, with lines of cats waiting to buy their pastries in honor of the late queen Isabelle. "So.. where to now?" she asked in delight.

"Ha! You don't need to buy them for me. I've got enough cash on me." He chuckled, continuing to follow his nose however he was pulled away from his desired path by Sky. The fisherman pouted softly, giving her a little kitten face as he was tugged off. Maybe he was going in the wrong direction after all, it seemed as if Sky knew where she was going though. He smiled wide, the smell of fresh food wafting around the two cats. He didn't remember the last time he had let himself have a treat.
The tom usually lived off, well of course, fish, and whatever else he could rustle up for a meal, and even though he usually could afford a treat now and then, it often didn't pass his mind, not until now that is. Othello couldn't remember the last time he had something sweet, something to treat his taste buds.
"Whoah Sky!" Othello crashed through the bush along side her, gazing up at the festival grounds a few seconds after Sky had noticed. "Oh wow..." Othello got to his feet and then looked around in awe, his blue eyes lit up by all the bright lights. He was always stunned by the beauty of the festival grounds. He could see all the cats enjoying themselves, and he was eager to join in on the fun. "Let's get some food, I'm starving!" Othello purred.

Sky giggled at Othello. " No really, ill buy them." she laughed at his expression. And was she hungry! The cats buzzing around her with their OWN pastries made her mouth water. She turned to Othello with a delighted grin on her own face. The lanterns were now glowing all over the small fair, and everywhere in the forest, there were those magical lights. They cast beautiful shadows and lights over her pretty face.
Her grin turned into a smile, one eye brow raised looking at Othello. "Of course! Where to?" she purred back. She loved pastries, they were like... heaven! Made by the creator himself! She knew that sugar and chocolate was a little unhealthy but she loved those sweet things more then anything.
The wind was warm, surprisingly, though quite strongly, blowing a leaf straight into Othello's face, Sky burst out laughing.
