The early morning sun was rising over Gwellian's Market. The many glowing night lantern's hanging above the heads' of early market-goers as they padded from stall to stall. The silence of the morning interrupted by the beat of drums and the whistle song of luteists and pipers dancing in the air as wares were sold.
The jingling of bells and the sound of music making Avery's ears twitch in amusement as he watched from under the corner of a alchemist's shop. Where he sat on a wooden stool in silence as petals were thrown into the air as confetti, and fellow cat's stomped their paws and danced in the market streets.

Hey ^u^ I don't mean to bother you but would you mind changing your thread name? I wouldn't ask it's just I actually made a thread in the market with the same name yesterday and it seems to be confusing people. Since this a ongoing rp, shoulda sent a Note/Message either on here or DA.. :I .. Kinda just spams the thread.
Renly was actually in the midst of all this commotion, where there was party! The she-cat was surely there. Dancing with Red, the light colored female twirled and whirled around with the darked colored tom cat. Laughter rang from her throat, and amusement glistened in her emerald colored eyes. It had been a few days since the cat had seen her crush, the love she had held in her heart.. having tried several times to see him, but the tom had all but disappeared, or maybe it was just really bad timing. To get the worry from her head, Grimm found herself here, stomping and shaking her hips to the beat as gracefully as she possibly could. Confetti seeming to line her head after awhile only to be tossed off with dips and sharp twirls, sending the colorful pieces of paper tossed back into the air, the air whisping them away.

Avery eyed the cheering crowd, let out a puff of misty air as he tilted to lean his head against the shop's wall, combing the crowd with sickly eyes in the early morning light. It was good to be back in Gwellian after the week he spent in the Rithengar Forest. He hadn't had time to tell anyone where he was going as it was his Mother's grave he went to see in the forest, making him all the more confused at how he was to apologize to his friends... and Renly.
Sighing Avery leaned forward in his seat, rubbing a boney paw through the tuft of fur on top of his head as he watched the crowd in silent thought. Only snapping out of his reverie as his ears flicked up at the sight of tan and brown swirled fur amongst the dancing felines.

She enjoyed feeling the gusts of air in her long fur and the pounding of her heart as she whipped, dipped and danced. The little celebration of who knew what it was about, was the most fun she had since the festival and it was great to be out again, away from her cousin.. the guild. The light of the morning sun rained down on them all, warming the cool air that told stories of autumn and its return. Maybe that was the reason they danced, to welcome the changing of seasons, to release the thoughts of the bitter winter that was soon to follow and chill the felines to their core. Though a peaceful thought, none would know what started the crowd's entertainment, and uproar of music , that sent all to enjoy each stranger's company.
Renly laughed, the look on Red's face as she twirled around him was a bit of awe, the tom probably not have known the she-cat of such deadly advances could move in a most coy manner. The she-cat hadn't notice the pale tom lingering only meters away, but she could feel his gaze burning into her side as he watched her. The eerie feeling would actually cause the emerald eyed feline to cease her movements and glance around, expectant to see someone's attention on her. Though through the the crowd, it was hard to pinpoint who actually was..

Avery smiled as he wobbly stood up, despite his legs still burning from the long journey back from his mother's grave. He began to limp his way over to the rolling crowd that clapped and danced to drum beats, and flute calls. The petals and coloured paper falling down to tangle in his wiry fur, as he hobbled with a new speed.
He hadn't seen her in weeks, but still loved her with every fiber of his being; from his brittle bones to the air he breathed and every thought and lantern he created. His heart was beating a thousand miles and hour, making him feel almost like he was never crippled as he limped quickly through the crowd.
Trying to find that flash of tan coon fur that belonged to the most beautiful cat he'd ever met. A cat with eyes greener than the deepest forest, a smile like the sun that warmed his pale fur. Yet smiling like a fool, he almost ran headfirst into her, stopping short just in time to avoid broken bones and bruises.

Turned, still trying to find the source of such a strange feeling she had got, eyes narrowed suspiciously. It only took a moment for a rival to advance on her, and she had to be careful, with her occupation in certain.. groups. The crowd would continue to dance around her, Red distracted with another of his friends, Renly would be in her own little anxiety filled world. The eerie chill seemed to have subsided and with a roll of her shoulders, the maine coon mix would turn as she tried to return her attention on the rusty tom but the image of him would be blurred out by a flash of grey and pale creamy white. Those Emerald green eyes widened, startled but as her vision cleared and focused, the aghast expression would fade into something of excitement and joy. Those acute hues couldn't seem to soak up enough of the cat that was now in her sights... so close, grinning back at her.
Avery.
"... Where have you been?" The Assassin purred softly, shuffling closer to wrap the tom she loved in a gently but affectionate hug.
"Ive missed you."

Avery smiled gingerly as he wrapped his frail arms around the assassin in a gentle hug as he rested his chin on top of her head, the confetti and petals rained down over head as he spoke in a voice slightly muffled by the long strands of fur that covered Renly's head. "I missed you too. But I had to go up the Rith'. Avery smiled against the top of her head, swaying lightly in the breeze, his sickly eyes closed.
He had really missed Renly when he went up to tend his mother's grave, but it needed to be done and despite his overwhelming sadness at seeing his brittle mother's grave. Yet Avery was happy just to stand right there in the crowd, with the only cat he cared about wrapped in his wiry arms as he shifted from hind-leg to hind-leg in a small, slow dance.
Opening his eyes he leaned back to look down at the beautiful assassin and give her a light peck on the cheek. "But I'll make it up to you." He smiled lightly, his crooked tail curled close as to not be stepped on. "You've got me for the whole day and night, by the heart-strings." Ave grinned, holding one of her paws in his larger and bonier digits. "Anything you want, even the Palace." He chuckled, his ears twitching in humor at the thought of him even saving up enough money to buy the Frozen Palace.

Renly buried her head in his chest, her chest rumbling in a steady purr as she felt his arm's around her as well and his head resting against the top of her's. Large ears listened to his voice, his explanation of his disappearance and what he would do to make his absence up to her. The assassin smiled softly, though it was filled with joy and happiness, and glanced up at him as they began to shuffle along in the crowd to the music.
"Mmm the palace huh?" she giggled, bright eyes watching him with a look of excitement and amusement as they continued to their slow dance. "I think I would like that, Queen Renly..." The feline hmm'd at the title, "Yeah it has a nice ring to it.~" she chimed before breaking away from the pale tom with a wink. "Well since I have my love for the day, I think a nice dinner would be appropriate after such a lovely dance."

"Wherever you wish to go, my Queen." Avery smiled over the roar of music, preforming a mock-bow as he hobbled after the beautiful assassin, trying to avoid getting stood on by the viciously wild crowd as he wobbled along on pale hind-legs. Before falling on all-fours as to keep up with the green-eyed beauty that he trailed after as quickly as his brittle bones allowed. Only finally catching up to the assassin as he reached the outskirts of the crowd, pale fur tangled with confetti as he puffed air out of his weak lungs.

She moved some fur from her eyes, the locks having become longer with the approach of winter, and being maine coon, ya had a lot of fur, the fluffy lot they're. Emerald eyes flicked over to him as he finally caught up to her, and she'd slide her arm around his as they walked, though couldnt help but snicker at the confetti in his fur, unaware of her own tangled mess of colored paper that tangled in her tan and white locks.
Renly let a smile grow along her features, and upped a brow with a small 'hmm' in thought, returning her line of sight in front of her as she looked for a place to dine with her love. "We couldd go to my place, and Ill cook ya dinner? Hows that sound? You've traveled a long way my dear, you deserve to be pampered!" she said excitedly, a purr slipping from her throat and continued to echo in her chest as she turned towards her little cottage. Yayy Boyfriends!

Avery chuckled as he followed after the maine coon, picking confetti out of both of their fur as they walked towards the assassin's house. His pale eye's following her every graceful step as she skipped and walked like a dancer towards the front door. Her long fur a beautiful contrast against the colours of autumn that swirled around them, making him smile as grasped one of her paws with his own frail one.
"Only if I get to help you cook it." Avery smiled, his crooked tail sweeping up leaves of red and gold as he walked with the assassin. Clutching one of her pale paws in his own frail one, a big grin on his tired and weary face, as he felt his bones crackle and scrape as he limped along. Grinning despite the pain, almost as if he never felt it anymore, when he saw the beautiful she-cat that he walked with.

The cat looked at him and snickered, "Whats that suppose to mean? My cooking is great!" she laughed, giving a pouty look at him, even though if that was what he was implying... he was pretty correct, her cooking was awful. "Finefine, you can help, but I want you to relax, you do so much.. running the tavern all by yourself, Ave." the Maine coon snugged into his arm, severed tail sweeping happily behind her as they walked up the hill towards her cottage. It sat a bit lonely, separated from the others, but was cozy to say the least and peaceful, despite she didnt spend much time it.

Avery chuckled, his crooked tail sweeping up leaves as he walked into the cottage with the maine coon. "Wasn't imply anything songbird, just don't like the thought of a pretty lady slaving over a cooking pot." Avery smiled, the wiry fur of his face brushing against the top of Renly's head he as waited for her to unlock the cottage door. His pale eye's roaming around the leaves as to take in what the cottage looked like. Until he heard the door click and followed the maine coon into her home.

She led him in, glancing back at the tom with a smile before breaking away from him to open the curtains and let the sunlight flood into the rooms. The inside was a decent, not small but not large either, a bit of dust collected on the tables and the paintings that hung about the walls, evidence of the lack of use the poor building received. Pausing, Renly let her eyes scan over the rooms, standing in what seemed to be the living room and let a sigh pass through her nose, glancing over to Avery.
"Never really have a reason to be here... It would be nice, to actually truly call this place home. I just travel a lot... " the Maine coon looked down at the floor boards, her voice hinted of lonely and longing. Turning, Ren headed for the kitchen, "Make yourself comfortable love~", her voice would pick up as she called out to him, the sound of pots and pans clattering together as she began to gather what she had bought this morning to prepare into something of a meal.

Smiling Avery ducked down as he followed after the maine coon. Trying not to hit his head on the low-hanging rafters of her house as he ducked into the living room that led to the kitchen. Before giving up as his forehead smacked into one of the rafters, forcing him to stumble backwards and re-gaining his balance with a grunted chuckle as he wobbled across the wooden floor. His tail sweeping up dust like it always as he meandered around the house. Completely fascinated by the dust and decorations that hid in every shadow of the cottage.
