Azael walked, a bag of bought goods slung over his shoulder and a hint of long practiced swagger in his steps. Humming to himself, the large tom cleared a path in the hustle and bustle, the ongoing commotion of other feline's in his wake seeming to cease as they got a glance of him, those scars, and his assumed 'reputation'. Pausing and stepping out of the way, pulling their kit's behind them, hostile glares burning into him as they quietly ridiculed the Jailer.
It was a lonely life for the tom cat, but he seemed unphased, least on the outside, though with every silent accusation, his heart burned more with a deep hatred. Icy gaze calmly set on the road ahead, he'd take a moment to break from the crowd, a few bards and entertainers playing in the little space they had to demonstrate their talents. Just meters away was a large tree, providing shade, which a few cats sat under and Aza was more then happy to join them... despite as soon as he sat down to take a breather, and check on his newly acquired, they'd simple shuffle over, distancing their selves just a tad before returning to their concentration on the pretty she-cats, who twirled around at the beat.
Seeing everything was in check, the saimese mix slid the item's close to his side and leaned his head back against the tree trunk. Ears fully erect, Azael listened to the beautiful music with a faint smile painted along his maul.

Those that had merely shifted from the tom had now jolted in surprise at the sultry voice that resonated through the tree, drifting above their unsuspecting heads. If one looked up they could find a long body of dark complexion draped taut and lithe in one of the lower boughs of the great tree. The feline was female, of short fur that glistened with inept hygiene lean muscles used to labor. Golden eyes shimmered as she glanced down at those who sat below, which now mostyl consisted of the lone male. Most didn't like to have a stranger hover above them, especially a stranger who idly flipped a single dagger in a paw like a kits trinket. Tail tip flicking nonchalantly, she tilted her head, one large ear twitching as causing the three golden bands to twinkle in a harmonious clatter which was lost in the continuing music that surrounded them. "I'd dance but these bones are tired, anyway, a girl could use a drink. Or three." A grin flashed over her tranquil features, though somehow the she-cat remained aloof. Her voice dripped like deep honey as her white teeth glittered, striking against the contrast of her fur. Voice teasing without flirtation, companionable without familiarity.

Azael kept his eyes shut, head leaned back in a comfortable position against the tree broad trunk. A ear would twitch at the sudden voice, though it wasn't responded to at first, as the tom cat wasn't to used to others talking to him, it would take the next sentence that would actually get his attention. Lifting his head, and craning his neck to glance up at the feline above him, a subtle 'Hmmm?" would slip from his throat. "Ya talkin' to me?" Aza's deep voice would ring from his chest, icy blue eyes peering through his deep brown mane. The sight of the female up in the tree gazing down at him was a bit uncomfortable and odd... though the sight of the dagger she twirled in her digits was the least of his unease.
"Might need ta' put that away before you drop it one of these poor lad's heads... " he chuckle, getting a few wary glances from the other cat's sitting a distance from him who continued to switch attention from the darker female to himself. They probably thought they were both nuts. Ohwell.

Theodora had merely been speaking aloud her thoughts, but it was always a nice change to be answered. However, a brilliant smile flashed on her face as he continued on with some amusement about her dagger act. She paused in flipping the weapon, now tilting her head so she could study the male with a nonchalant stare. The she-cat did not miss the distance of the other felines, she wasn't oblivious to the dark aura that hovered around the male like a fog either. Something much like her own, she figured. With a sigh she dropped her chin on an upturned paw, answering in a low purr. "If I was clumsy enough to drop it, I wouldn't have Kindness in the first place." A talon ran along the blades sharpest edge, as it glinted while kissed by a drop of sunlight. Attention riverted back to the male whom she spoke to, stretching her back legs in a lazy gesture of contentment. "Even if I put it away, I have a feeling it won't make them feel any better anyway...And it's not just me. I'm Theo. You?" It was here she dropped low enough to hold out a paw to shake, tail twitching.

Azael listened to her talk , and was quite happy on the inside that someone was actually taking in his company and talking to him. The large tome shifted his position against the tree to be a bit more comfortable before gazing up at the slender grey she-cat with his icy blue eyes watching her with a hint of interest and curiosity. A faint smile formed along his maul and that curled tail flicked as he nodded with a bit of chuckles rumbling from his throat. "Im Azael, A pleasure Theo." He murred, dipping his head in a bit of formality. "What brings ya to the market?" he asked quietly, though with his deep voice quiet wasnt always the most successful. Turning his head back to lean against the tree and to watch the dancers twirl about to the music, though his ears stayed perked a sign that the male was still listening to what the cat had to say.

I have been CRAZY busy and haven't been able to respond to anything. Finally able to get back on track...
IC|| Despite the toms formality, she sensed no threat from him. From the looks of him, Theodora much appreciated that they weren't at odds with eachother. Alas, she brushed this aside as she gave a long stretch, feeling the muscles that were so often worked relax and rest for the time being. To his inquiry she let herself take another moment to consider. During this pause in the conversation she finally let herself drop from the tree limb and land with ease and a grace that came naturally to her sleek figure. When she stood to full heigth she was nearly as tall as the male. Infact, she could look him in the eyes quite easily as she dropped her paws to her sides, turning her gaze to the dancers aswell. "I've got some time to burn, thought I'd check out and see whats going on around here. Plus, I'm hungry." Another grin formed. Anyone who knew Theodora would know that she was constantly hungry, and ate impossible amounts of food to satiate her hunger. A mixture of scents promised a good meal as the she -cat sniffed appreciatively. "And you?"

Azael yawned a bit, listening to the feline shift and drop from the tree beside him, his icy gaze moving to sweep over her as she began to speak. The tom shrugged simply at her words as she directed his own question back to him.
"Mmm, Not much really... Picking things up for the Lady, ya'know?" he'd chuckle, the noise rumbling deeply from his chest as he patted his bought goods. " Just thought I'd sit and rest for a moment, has been a long morning." Reaching up he'd scratch at an ear and thought on food, after hunger being mentioned, he found himself becoming a bit peckish as the large male hadn't eaten yet today. "Well if thats a offer, or some kinda suggestion, I say we should go grab something then... If ya'd like some company, I know there is always some kinda food in this district."
OOC: No problem (: I understand !

Gaze still dwelling on the acrobatically skilled dancers the she-cat nodded in understanding. Although she hadn't a mate herself she had lived while looking over her aged mother for some time before her death and knew what it was like to have responsibility and love for someone. The moment passed as she stretched her arms high above her head, pleased with a quiet 'pop' that followed as her joints settled. "Some peace, company and good meal is something I could never turn down. And not having to talk shop would be a nice change, methinks." For all she trusted her fellow shades with, her life, their talents, it was a rare occasion that they had a simple chat. Azael seemed like a good fellow, one with a family life of some extent, some normalcy. It would be a welcome change. Long legs began to glide forward as she gestured with a paw towards the nearby stalls, slender skull tilted up as she tested the air with her sensitive nostrils. Golden eyes were bright with expectation. "I'm known around here for a...insatiable appetite. I've tried every meal that's offered around here. But it's just so hard to choose...Tsk tsk...So, your Lady, tell me of her?" Head slanted back to look at him, friendly curiosity proof of her genuine interest.
