Reed smiled "well we made it pretty homey" he purred and laughed at her remark of Roran "I'm sure he won't mind, he love's company" he elbowed her and as the two approached he saw Roran stick his out the door. "Hey Roran, yeah Kycin is going to spend the night" he shot his brother a look that said 'don't start anything'. "So why don't you start some dinner. I'm sure we can scrounge up something nice" he purred.

Kycin noticed a familiar face pop out the door, "Roran!" she laughed, giving him a wave before looking at Reed, "I can help with dinner if you like." she offered, wishing to help in some way to show her thanks. She was used to cooking on little fires on her adventures to Rithengar. Making her way into the house, she was embraced in such beauty and coziness of the brothers' home. The air was interlaced with warmth, and a good getaway from the cold night outside. Shuffling to one side so Reed could get through she turned to Roran, "How are ye doing?" she smirked in a pirate accent, "Thanks for letting me stay, really."

Their home was small and quaint, but Roran had a touch for making the best out of small spaces and had arranged everything to bring out the most of the space. The main room was the biggest and included the kitchen the living area and the dining area, which was pretty much the living area. There where doors leading to the back where the water was and a small dock with a boat. There where two rooms off of the main room. A bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom had two hammock like beds, one slung over the other. Roran had the top, Reed had the bottom. There was a chest in there with their things they had brought with them.
Roran gave her a hug, and only thought about weather or not it would offend her afterwards, he just liked to give hugs. He smiled. "Its great to see you too!" He motioned towards the kitchen. "Sure you can help" He offered. "But we are kinda low on food" he shot a look at Reed. They both knew they had little food, and some nights they didm't eat at all. At least today they had a little extra so that they could all have a small meal. "We have bread and meat and some vegetables for stew." He spoke and took the ingredients out of their places and spread them out on the table. He looked back at Kycin. "Im doing very well. Each day I wake up, I breath, I eat, I do what I love for a profession, and I have a family I can share my day with." He smiled broadly. He hoped that the upcoming raid would provide them with more

Reed stared back at Roran. He knew they didn't have a lot of food, but he had money, and they would be able to eat. Besides he wanted the chance to have a guest over at their house. He knew that Roran would enjoy the company as well. "Stew sounds so great right about now" he plodded over to the sink and started washing carrots and chunking meat.
"Hey Kycin do you think you could start cutting up some of these carrots" he purred and curled his tail contently.

Kycin made her way across towards the kitchen, enjoying the warmth of the house, and it did have such a better atmosphere than her, bland, empty house. Being hugged by Roran, she hugged him back before she unknotted her cloak, it was still cold from outside. Although the house was small, it was cheerful and welcoming, and more and more she felt guilty just for stepping her paws into it. If she could make a few schillings, she wouldn't hesitate to buy the brothers a gift to show her gratitude. "Stew? Good golly yes." a laugh came from her as she quickly swung her cloak onto the pegs, hoping they wouldn't mind, and went back to the kitchen.
Nodding as Reed offered her something to do to help, she awkwardly gazed around for a knife to chop up the carrots. Standing for a moment, she shrugged and took one off the wall. The edge of the knife landed on the carrot, dislodging a piece, before she then got into the pace of making good enough sized pieces for the stew.

Roran started to hum along as he took out a pot and splashed in some oil and put it on heat and began to throw in the meat for searing as Reed chunked it up. It made a loud hissing as it slapped the hot pan and its aroma began to fill the kitchen. The heat of cooking began to heat the house more. After the meat was cooked he scooped it aside and began to cook onions in the juice, slowly adding flour to make a thick gravy. He then added the meat again and some herbs and the veggies to the pot as the other's finished preparing them.He smiled as he gathered Kycin's cut veggies. "Thank you ma'am" He said before continuing the humming and cooking, his tail swishing around happily.

Reed purred a little as he worked, handing the meat off to Roran who thew it into a pan. It almost seemed like a cozy happy family working in the kitchen, and with Kycin around it gave the brothers a reason to talk and chat instead of working in the normal silence "So are you excited about the raid?" he tom asked. He knew that it would be in a couple sunrises and he was nervous. It was the first big thing he had done as apart of the Blue Bloods.

Kycin blinked, the house was filled with such mouth watering scents of the stew. "No problem. Stew's cookin' nicely." she mewed, then turned to Reed, she had to give these brothers something. It was still pondering in her mind, hopefully she'll think about it later when dinner would be served. Maybe she could craft them something? She enjoyed making little things from bark from the trees in Rithengar, or even a cloak? Perking up at Reed's question, she knew there was going to be a raid soon, it would be her second quest, and of course she felt nervous, and the brothers taking part would be too, "Ah, yes, hopefully you'll get a few supplies then. Im not sure what to spend my loot on." she laughed, shrugging at the thought, enjoying the warmth of the house.

With the food cooking, it didn't need much attention now so he turned it towards the visitor. He sat on the counter and leaned back, swishing his feet a bit. "It's just a raid, so it should go pretty smoothly. At least if all the new cats can listen to instructions well." He wasn't going to admit he was nervous himself, although most of it was excitement. "It will be nice to have cats there that I know and recognize" He said and sighed. He knew that Rose was on his team, which was going to be nice. She not only was good company, but he had seen first hand that she could take care of herself as well. So far he knew Taboo a little, and then Rose, Kycin, and Reed.

Reed purred at Kycin's words "have you been on a raid before?" he asked, knowing she had been apart of the Blue Bloods for a while now. He elbowed Roran playfully. He knew the tom was nervous as well and just wouldn't admit it. His paws itched for the action of the fights and the gold and loot they would get afterwords. He purred and fluffed his tail a little at the thought. He stirred the stew one last time and then blew the flame out of the stove and removed the pot and poured it into bowls for them to eat. He took the bread and placed it on the table. He handed Kycin a bowl and Roran a bowl and took one for himself "Bon Appetite"

Kycin chuckled at the two brothers, they seemed well prepared for the raid, better than she was on her first quest. "The first quest wasn't a raid. Perhaps more of a fright. We went to stranger shores, finding a cat, Blue didn't say who it was." she replied as she sat herself at the table, thankfully mewing to them as she looked at the stew. It looked and smelled delicious. This was true friendship to cherish. "Really guys, thank you so much, I never got treated like this before." a laugh came from her as she waited for them to sit down. As wild as she was, she didn't forget her manners. Gesturing for them to eat, she didn't want to begin without the hosts.

ahhh i'm sorry ;A; I just keep forgetting to come over here. I'm really new to this forum and i forget to check messages over here. U-U I'd love to finish this up, and if it takes me over a day, if you could just poke me on Skype or note me on DA I'd remember. ]]
Roran took some of the food and scooped it into three bowls and handed them out to the others. He sat cross-legged in the middle of the 'dining' room which was part of the living quarters and smiled warmly up at Kycin. "We've never had company before, we just want to make sure you enjoy your stay. He ate the stew slowly, it was still quite warm and he could feel the heat of it fill his mouth and body as he ate. "besides, you seem like a really awesome cat. Maybe we could hang out more often. He could get to know each other more often." hi warm smile turned a into a sly grin as he looked to reed. "Besides, it seems you are Reed are becoming fairly /close/ friends?"

Reed listend to her story. He wondered why Blue was so secretive all the time. Was he hiding something or was it just in his head. He shook the thoughts away, wanting to make the best of the moment he had now. But his cheeks became warm at Roran's suggestion of their close friendship. "Uh well we met a few times" mewed quietly, rather embarrassed by his vague accusation of his fondness for her. "She and I are friends" he said cooly to his brother giving him a look.

Kycin scooped herself a bit of stew as the brothers began to eat. "This is good." the feline added with a grin, "This is really, really good." and began spooning herself more of the delicious meal that they prepared. She stopped eating for a moment, "Enjoy my stay? Of course, I can't believe you're doing this. Im grateful for your kindness." adding a chuckle, "You guys deserve a gift." then she perked up as Roran suggested they could hang out meeting each other again. What could they do? Reed needed supplies from the market, maybe they can go then? It was up to them to decide, she wasn't so sure of making her own decisions, but neither did she want to be unhelpful. Roran's last words almost made her choke on a lump of meat. Drawing a paw over her mouth as she coughed, she quickly mewed, "Yeah we're just friends." although her cheeks turned pink, she quickly hid her face by spooning another mouthful.
