This entire thing seemed just a little weird to the wanderer - but heck, why not? Plus there was a crowd forming around the booth, so the she-cat finally decided to approach it. Matchmaking thingy, eh? Interesting indeed. At least something new - and Riven never missed a chance to do something new, so the she-cat decided she could as well participate.
After answering to Leif's question about fate (which she indeed believed in) she was given the choice between three desserts. She, of course, picked the chocolate mousse. As long as something was chocolate, she loved it. Ah, too bad it wasn't a real dessert - she could really have used something sweet.
In the end it seemed like she was paired up with the hooded albino tom over there - sure, Riven didn't miss a chance to check the feline out. Too bad the hood was hiding his facial features. "Chocolate mousse over here," she approached him with a slight smirk upon her face, waving her 'ticket' in a paw.

Haven stood there, ticket in hand as he waited for the results to be sung from the brown tom's maw. For the elongest time he faught to just make a run for it, turn his back and walk away. But his good manners, in which his mother instilled in him, seemed to bolt him to the dusting, cobblestoned floor beneath him. What tom in his right mind would leave a lady during a small booth event? 'This tom...' he thought irritatingly. His tail swiped from side to side as cats all around him greeted eachother for the first time. Some were more awkward then others but all in all it was a calming, and also hilarious, sight.
This holiday seemed to instill some form of hope into the cats of Gweillan. It was thanks to his mother. After all, with Hollows Eve just around the corner, the kingdom needed some mindless, love-inspiring event. Pulling his hood further onto his face in a sort of nervous motion his red gaze darted around the small street clearing. Maybe no one was chosen for him? Maybe he could leave! Sadly though, his glimmer of hope was rather short lived.
"Chocoloate mousse! Over here" he heard the softer, more feminine voice of a she-cat, her tone drifting atop the bustle of the forming crowd. A shiver rose up his spine and instinctively he moved his gaze down, quickly after taking a peek at the se-cat as she made her way forward. 'Why didnt I wear my full cape' he growled inwardly at himself. is scars where visible from his shoulders down, and he cursed his stupidity. Normally he wouldnt find this to be a big deal, walking the streets like a common beaten rabble, but here he was being singled out.
"Uh yeah, rasberry tart..." how stupid could this event possibly get...and how more humiliating. He lifted his gaze from the ground to hers, she was a bit smaller than he, which was to be expected. Haven recieved his height from his father, after all. Her eyes were a crystal blue, and very hypnotizing. Clearing his throat after an akward silence he stook out a single paw, offering to shake hers. "Do you have a real name, or would you prefer I call you chocolate mousse for the rest of the evening" he charmed with a smirk, a part of his face could be seen with the setting sun just atop the cave top of gweillan.

Meanwhile, the other felines who participated in the matchmaking thingy were starting to get to know each other. In a way, the wanderer actually liked this holiday. Meeting new cats, well what could possibly be better than that? Plus she got to flirt some more, and messing with toms was actually quite fun sometimes. But this holiday wasn't exactly about messing with others, it was about getting to know each other better and enjoying a sweet or two. Lovely.
Riven skidded right in front of the tom, meeting his gaze with the same slight smirk. She, of course, couldn't help but notice the scars that the cape had failed to hide, but decided not to pay much attention to them - it was truly impolite to stare like that, and the tom, after all, seemed to be attempting to hide. Cats all had their own secrets, and it was none of her business.
Giving his offered paw a good shake, Riven grinned slightly. "The name's Riven, Riven Lockwood," she spoke a short introduction, just like she always did. There was not much more she could say about herself, apart the fact that she was a wanderer. "And yours, may I inquire? I don't believe you're called Raspberry Tart either?" She chuckled silently, keeping her gaze locked on the feline before her.

Haven grasped her paw in his, he could vaguely feel the rough patches and yet they were wll taken care of...for a wanderer. It was clear to him of her current social status, not just by the sublte corseness of her pawpads, but the slightest hint of dust to her pelt, more so than the other cats that gathered to greet eachother around them. Her stance read 'independant' and her tone read bold. Everything about her screamed wanderer, lack of family to hold her down, or responsibility to stiffle that freedom that all vagabonds sought after.
With a slow nod of understaning, accompanied by a chuckle, he let her paw go and took a quick note of her name. Riven. Pretty. "Well Miss Riven, you can call me Snow" He dipped his head in a respectful manner. He would have hated for the actual good first, dapper, introduction to each other to grow...awkward so he decided to take the lead in that manner. All the couples around him were talking of favorite spots to chat, hobbies theyd like to share. His mind rattled for a cool idea, something to get them moving away from the lovey dovey-ness of the crowd.
He felt odd, it had felt like an entire lifetime since he last flirted with a she-cat, or made decent conversation. Oh how the quarrels of his secretive life seemed to be catching up with him. He rubbed the back of his head quite embarrassed as his mind took a bit longer to make up a good place for a spontaneous date. "Forgive me, heh" he chuckled softly with a sheepish smile. "I haven't been in the game for quite some time. I do, however, have a nice place for us to go. If you don't mind trusting a strange tom with your very life" this statement was sincere in the beginning, but as it ended it became a tease with a devilish smirk, but quickly changed to a ginger chuckle once more.

Something about Snow definitely made Riven think he was of a higher class - perhaps the manners or the way he dressed. She herself was quite sure she hadn't seen him around ever before. In case he was from the empire, she'd have to be careful, after all she was a personal assassin of the Flame Dagger Thugs. She was always careful, though.
But she'd learned to keep her guild and normal lives separated, and the slight smile on her face never faded while she thought. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Snow," she spoke with a tiny dip of her head which was followed with some kind of an awkward silence. No matter how much she hated awkward situations, the she-cat couldn't really think of anything to do on a.. date.
"Nah, it's alright," she returned a grin - the way Snow rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish grin in embarrassment, she somehow found it pretty darn adorable. Too bad the hood was still hiding the majority of the tom's facial features. "Trusting a total stranger with my very life.. what can be more exciting that that?" She raised a brow with a smirk upon her face. "I'd love to see this place you speak of," she replied.
