Finally it had come, the night that offered all its secretive comforts and it was there, on the top of his worn down home, that the albino tom sat sipping on his mug of warm, brewed honey suckle ale. The harvest moon dappled through a few castaway clouds that danced through the darkened skies above the cat kingdom. Tail curled and uncurled at the end with much satisfaction. Even if his home was a bit worn out it was to be excpected with a home so close to the Witches Hollow. Afterall, no one would take a home like this and after a while it fell into decay. It made no difference to the tom though, it only meant that his father would'nt get so close to him here. Plus, the main ingredient to his herbal vile sat just beyond the eerie barrier of darkened oak trees.
"How convinient" he mused, taking another sip of from his mug and placing it at his side. Mind you, it was a bit odd living on ones own. Haven had only known luxury his entire life until he reached the age of two, once he grew fed up of the prison life his father had forced upon him. Never in his wildest dreams did he realize he would be sitting atop a shack on the forgotten part of the south quarter. "Happy two week anniversery, ay" he clanged his mug atop the roof top playfully before remembering why he had made the descision to move from the palace walls. The scars on his face began to sting but he ignored it, it was merely phantom pains getting the best of him.
It didnt help though, how lonely he was. Even the witches hollow trees were comforted by the dark, embraced and loved by the night. His ears pulled back a pit and he looked down at his paws solemly before grabbing his hood from his head and slowly pulling it off to hold in his palms. "I suppose a tom cannot always get what he wants" he chuckled soflty, running one of his paws over the small emblem on his hood. His guild emblem. A sigh escaped his maw and a sad smile accompanied it. The world was quiet around him, it seemed even the south quarter found comfort in itself and slept.
(if you want to know, his home is D16 on the map c: )

Little did he know at the moment though, that he was not completely alone. A slender silhouette, silent and invisible as it hid from the sight of both Haven and the moon, itself. I hadn't expected to see another cat in these parts, even if I was use to setting myself on the roof of others' houses since I had none. I was like a nomad, constantly on the move. My bright turquoise eyes were glued to the tom who seemed to glow at the light of the moon. Curiosity began to over-take me...but how should I have made myself known? Besides, I knew not if he were friend or foe. Finally, I slowly took out my flute which had been tucked into the back of my neck-piece. This is so stupid... I thought to myself, but I carried on with my actions, letting my body work on its own mind. I put the main hole to my waiting lips, and took in a deep breath. My eyes never left the sight of the tom with every gesture and breath I made, as if he would turn and claw my eyes out if I set my eyes off of him. Finally, my breath shot itself from my lungs and out through my throat, resulting in a fluttery tune. I had blown my flute, softly. I paused for a moment, daring to blink before I blue in again, and soon enough I began to tun into the flute with multiple tunes until I found myself unconsciously playing a straying song.

At this point I had gotten used to the quiet, at least for the night. The streets of the south were always bustling with either songs from the market or seaside tavern or some late night hustling at the market place. A sigh left my maw before I placed the mug to my lips and took another sip. I was so sure it was going to be yet another broing night, which to be honest, I did not mind too much. Most of my nights consisted of stalking in the shadows, gathering intel or being beaten up by my father....which was a new and recent development. I could feel a ginger chuckle escape from my maw.
As soon as I relaxed again though my juvial, yet pathetic, memories were interrupted by the most sublte of tunes. At first it was just a simple tone and then it slowly rose to a subtle lull of a song. But it was coming....from the roof? Slowly I spun around and rose to my feet. Sliding my hood over my head again I adjusted it before looking for the owner of the music. Thank the creator for the light of the moon, it flushed out everything that tried to hide. From the shadows emerged a she-cat with the most brilliantly hued shades of reds that pained her pelt and at her lips she help a flute to her lips.
"I dont suppose you always stalk the rooves wihile playing your instrument of choice?" I teased before heading a bit closer, slowly as to not startle her.

While seeing the calm and curiosity in his mysterious red eyes, I stepped a little closer and couldn't help but to giggle. I put a paw at my lips almost shyly. "Not always, but most of the time yes" I answered as if it was something to be proud of. I held my flute in one hand like a sword, pointing it towards him in a playful manner: a smirk on my face. "Besides...you seemed lonely, and music is the moonlight of every lonely night. It's a healing that many cats are alien to, and anycat who wishes to be healed should listen to some nice, gentle tunes, don't you think?" I was surprised at how much I was already talking to this tom, which I believed was quite handsome despite the scars. I could almost guess him to have been royalty if it weren't for his horrifyingly ugly scars that seemed to hide his beauty.
I always did love to talk though when I could. Being the lonely wanderer that I was, I never got the chance to speak to anyone.
