Iseret had never really been down near the southern quarter. She knew there was a forest there, but have never given herself the chance to explore it. To be honest it was not some place that she wanted to go exploring alone. She had heard some odd stories about the place and really would have felt more comfortable going in there with someone else. Still, she padded her way down to the southern quarter. She made her way through the market place and looked through some of the stands. There really wasn't much there to look at that she hadn't seen already. She really wanted to see if she could find a place with a nice cloak, but it seemed even that was a bit hard to find. She emitted a soft sigh before continuing one.
The she cat paused as she came to the entrance to the forest. Her gaze peered in between the trees as she stood there. She was still a bit iffy on the option. At least since she wasn't wearing her ribbons there wasn't going to be any worry about getting caught on something. She flicked her tail before stepping into the forest, cautious though as she took each step deeper inside.

Oh no, oh no, not again. The Siamese plunked down into a sit, leaning his back against the trunk of a tree and frowning. He wasn’t the type to get angry; in fact, Kite’s never yelled out of rage in his existence. But something about this made him want to tug at his fur and scream. He hated the woods. Normally, he’d just stay away, but this time he needed to find a plant. But with all the autumn twigs and underbrush around, he kept tripping everywhere. That’s okay, he was used to being a klutz… except for the fact that he’d also fallen in poison ivy while wandering the forest aimlessly. He’d caught himself with his paws, but now his wrists and paws itched like crazy. His forearms only saved by the gray bandages, he scratched as he sat there, his stormy blue eyes glancing about. He had ventured out into the woods again because he wanted to find some particular kinds of herbs he had heard about, since he had a new invention idea. But for it to work, it needed to be light – vines were lighter than rope. So off he had set out to find something to tie it all together, and now here he sat. Kite let out a soft breath; if only he hadn’t been so shy, maybe he could’ve gone and spoken to that limping doctor he’d heard about. He’d probably have the vines, or at least know where the Blacksmith could find the plants.
Kite got up, deciding he wouldn’t worry about finding the vines until he could actually find his way out of here. Of course, he had no clue where that was. Scanning the area, every autumn tree looked exactly the same. He had no idea he was actually only a little ways away from the village, or a little ways away from a she-cat who was now making her way through the underbrush. No, Kite had no way of knowing any of this; he was far too distracted scratching and itching at his paws and wrists. Flicking his whiskers, he picked a random direction and started waking. It was amazing how he could be so rash: he was a navigator! He could find his way out of here easily if he decided to focus, but tired and itching, he just didn’t feel up to hunkering down again and building a compass, or trying to measure the sun’s position. Nah, for now he’d just try to enjoy the walk; maybe he could find a magical plant that would make his paws stop itching… although, the idea of touching anymore mysterious leaves from the ground didn’t appeal to the pirate.
