Azael fiddled with his costume, scratching at the feathers that lined his shoulders and adjusted the bandana wrapped around his head. Rounded audits twitched with irritation, feeling out of place and surrounded as those blue eyes traced the room, watching all the dancing cats, their smiling faces, having a good time and yet he stood there, a blunt unreadable expression stained along his features. The music flooded the room, mixed with the murmur of conversations, and laughter, and paws shuffling against the floor. The lights were dimmed slightly, everyone in masks, a few not but all in their best Gala attire, all made for this one night. A sigh would come from his nostrils then, Azael finally breaking out of his paranoid daze and began to look around for his wife.

The gala was quite an extravagent event. There was so much to see. So many cats in their own designed dresses and costumes. It was a wonderful celebration, especially for the lovely pair. Upon arriving, Iseret had wandered inside, noticing the other cats dance. She couldn't help herself but join in on the fun. Being a dancer, it was nice to get out there and do her art, even if her mate did not wish to join her.
The she cat's eyes peered over to her mate as she was dancing. She had tried not to let him out of her sight too far. She knew he could be unstable at times, and it was better to be safe than sorry. She actually felt kinda sad for him. He was just standing there by himself and watching the other cats. A small frown formed on her face as she noticed the tom moving away, probably to come looking for her. She stopped her dance and went to join him. She purred softly as she leaned on him, "Are you feeling alright Azael?"

He jumped a little bit at her sudden voice, though quickly relaxed as that sweet tone slipped through his ear and registered in his mind. Glancing down at her with upped brows, a faint smile grew on his face and in his silence could only show various amounts of emotion through his features. Wrapping one arm around the slender feline, he'd give her a little squeeze before backing up, angling himself in front of her and extending a paw in offering. Azael was never one to be nimble and graceful with his movements but he knew how important the art of dance was to his wife and he was not about to ruin her night despite his lack of comforts within the room.
"May I have this dance?" he choked, his voice rumbling from his chest filled with fake confidence.

Iseret stepped back a bit as she noticed she surprised him. It was never her intention to do such a thing. She made sure to be careful so that she didn't trip over the attatchment to her dress. She purred softly as she noticed the smile creep onto his face and place his hand, asking her for a dance. She paused for a moment. He was not much of a dancer and wondered if he was just asking her because all the other cats were dancing. There was nothing wrong with not wanting to. The she cat soon took his hand, "Azael, we don't have to dance if you don't want to. I'm sure there's something else here we can do."
