It took him a while, but he had finally hobbled his way to the fields. Avery just couldn't resist going outside now that the sun scorched the grounds of Gwellian and turned the inn into a burning furnace of hot air.
So there he lay in the grassy festival fields. The songs of summer ringing through his ears and the quiet chatter of the traveling cats. He stretched in the grass, the sun heating his fur. As he dozed off to the chiming of music bells.

Jaelle signed as she padded from the Merchant Market. The lack of customers were getting on her nervs even though there was a crowd. Though there was one good perk about leaving the crowd. The more she paced away the cooler the air became. Jaelle stood on her hind legs and untied the scarf around her head. Her light tuff fell in front of eyes and with her paw she swipped it away.
She kept pacing until her eyes caught a tom. A tiny smile crept to her face. Jaelle skipped over and plopped herself down beside him. "I can tell that you're a smart tom." she started as she gazed up at the ceiling of the cave. She placed her paws on her knees and leaned forward. Her gaze turned to the feild around them. "It is much cooler here than there. I should have thought about that earlier." Jaelle continued.

Avery woke at the sound of paws on grass and stone. Sickly eyes flicking open, he looked up, spotting the cave entrance he lay near as well as a pale, brown striped, she-cat. She was pretty with blue green eyes and a tuft of for over her face. He grinned up at her, his crooked and fluffy tail brushing along the grass.
He sat up, wincing as he used his arms to push himself to sit upright. Feeling a tinge of pain he let himself lie back down in the grass, grinning. "I couldn't get much smarter with a noggin' like this." Ave stated as he tapped his head lightly, before ruffling the tuft of fur on his head.
"Now what's a lovely lady like yourself doing out here with a rot tom like me?" Avery asked as his pale teeth flashed in the sun.

She glanced over to see him try to lean up but he laid back down. One of her ears twisted back, "Oh, come on now, I doubt that." Jaelle grinned then gazed over to him. He was a handsome looking tom but she loved his pale blue eyes the most. "You don't look like a rot tom to me." she started, "You look like a tom that walks on a different path." The feline brushed her tuff back away from her eyes and leaned to the side. She placed on of her paws on the ground for support.
She then reached over into her bag and took out a deck of cards. "Would you like to see exactly what different path you can take?" Jaelle questioned him with a sly smile. She winked at him, hoping to get his attention and interest.

Avery grinned as he recognized the trick the she-cat was playing. "I prefer my future to be a suprise." Avery stated with a wink before continuing. "But I'll play along if ya' want." He replied as he gingerly rolled over onto his stomach, feeling his bones ache as the sun beat down on his back. "So pretty lapine, What does my future have in store?"

((is there any card you wanna use for his telling or description?))
Jaelle giggled a bit at his wink. She started to shuffle the deck before holding it out to Avery. "Shuffle my deck so the spirits can get a good sense of you. When you think the spirits know ya, spread the cards out and pick three. They will be your past, present, and future." She explained to him as her paw pushed away her tuff. Her figure lowered closer to the ground to where she used her elbow as support. "Oh and while you shuffl'n my cards, tell me a bit about yourself." Jaelle added. She wanted to get some info from him to help out with her telling. She also wanted to see if she could pick something up that he wouldn't tell her. Jaelle is a mind reader and she isn't afraid to use her power to her advantage.

((Nope you can decide))
Avery sighed as he began to shuffle the deck of cards with his brittle paws. "Well if your' a wanting to know 'bout me I can tell ya' I'm a cripple with a dark past, in love with a dangerous she-cat." He explained as he picked three cards out of the deck and presented them to the she-cat without looking at them. And with a sweep of a crooked tail he began to grin. "So what's my future hun?"
